Noosa 2012
On the 29th of October the Noosa Women's Grand Prix took place as a support event for the annual Noosa Triathlon. The event seems to be growing each year and this year I decided to be part of it! The crit was a great opportunity to catch up with alot of the girls and guys that I only briefly see during the racing season. The crit was very well organised and was raced full on, which wasn't surprising with the prize money on offer, including $2200 for the win! I raced with two of my good mates and we managed to pick up some prize money, but it was always going to be a big ask to win the race againest the likes of Rochelle Gilmore's Dream team, who were better on the day and controlled the race from start to finish with Olympic Champion, Nicole Cooke taking the win.
The plan for the next few weeks for me is to get into some solid k's and build up for next season. I will also get into the gym with my trainer Greg Gleeson in Port Macquarie. I head to Holland for team meetings and Team presentation towards the end of November.
Happy Pedalling!
